13th May 2015

Today at the Town Hall in St Albans, Anne met with members of the St Albans Health and Wellbeing team to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.

The St Albans MP is patron of Mind in Mid Herts which aims to promote mental wellbeing in the workplace and support individuals who are suffering or who have suffered from mental and emotional distress.

Anne said, ‘mental health is an essential aspect of an individual’s wellbeing.

‘Mind do a terrific job in supporting those who already suffer from emotional distress, but also do excellent work in promoting social inclusion and early intervention.’
