Pub Nuisance Hotline
Anne is pleased St Albans District Council launched the 'Pub Nuisance Hotline' as a result of their obligations to monitor and implement the new Licensing Act to help combat nuisance resulting from poorly run licensed premises. I am assured that the number operates from 10pm to 2am, Thursday to Saturday.
Anne said "On behalf of St Albans residents I met with Cllr. Donald and the Chief Licensing Officer where I raised concerns about the need to report noisy behaviour in and around Pubs and Clubs; I am please the Council are taking their responsibilities seriously. I urge any constituents who are experiencing any problems with licensed premises, or their customers, to call this number. During normal office hours their Licensing department can be contacted on 01727 819541."
