Rohingya Crisis

30th October 2017

The Week in Westminster, one of the most popular shows on Radio 4, discussed the plight of the Rohingya refugees on their show on Saturday.

Anne Main, alongside Will Quince MP, shared some of the experiences they had whilst visiting the refugees last month with host Peter Oborne.

Anne said, ‘I was delighted to share some of the stories we were told on the show. As I said during the recent parliamentary debate, it is our responsibility to bring back the stories we heard and to give these people a voice.

‘It is so important that our media continue to give the coverage this crisis deserves.  And, it is so vital that the British public know the scale of this awful humanitarian disaster.’
