Anne commented "charity workers and religious leaders constitute a huge proportion of the 'bedrock' of St Albans. They give many hours of their own time to others. I felt the need to show them as the MP how much I appreciate, on behalf of my constituents, the real difference these people make to so many lives."
Among those invited were representatives of Drugcare, Emmaus, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and Oxfam.
