Anne Main pledges to continue motorcycle test campaign if re-elected

Anne Main has pledged to continue her campaign for urgent adjustments to the motorcycle test if she is re-elected as MP for St Albans, as the Prime Minister announced the General election would be held on 6th May.

Nearly one hundred MPs have joined Anne Main's campaign to tackle the problems surrounding the test by signing up to a Parliamentary motion on the subject. Whilst the motion will fall when Parliament is dissolved in a few days time, it has shown the huge degree of support for changes in the test and test centres.

Anne said:
“It is clear from the support I have received from both MPs and motorcycle activists that there is a great will for revisiting the changes to the motorcycle test and for ensuring that centres are easily available to learner bikers.

I think this is important to get this right and I pledge to continue to push for these vital changes if I am re-elected as MP for St Albans on 6th May.”
