Anne Main meets with the constituents to discuss the issue of gay marriage. Following the meeting Anne said:
“My constituents made a powerful and forceful argument to retain the current definition of marriage. I have said to them as I have said to hundreds of my constituents since this issue arose that I am very sympathetic to the view that marriage should remain as the union between one man and one woman. We have not yet been told when this bill will come before the House, however I am keeping a close eye on this issue and following the debate closely.”
